This was the first win at the Division 1 level for Kouvola.  After an early safety, we got on the board with my 26 yard touchdown reception for Lari.  The Joonas Nikula, who had a great day, scooted for a 58 yard touchdown.  The final two touchdowns came from Lari and Antti.  Our defense was very tough all game against one of the toughest rushing offenses in the league.  Juha, probably the best non-import tackler on the team led the way with 6 solo tackles.  We also had 3 interceptions ( Ilpo had one and I had 2). 

 

Offensively the statistics were dominated by Joonas Nikula, our running back, who broke out for 108 yards and an amazing 58 yard touchdown run. 

 

The final score was 28 - 14.  We had the game pretty well in hand from the 2nd quarter on.
